Paintings 1996-2000 | Pablo Luis GonzálezThese paintings have been exhibited in several occasions in galleries in Hull. They came out of memories of incidents, scenes, moments of wonder; a young woman with a golden dress matched by golden hair, tentacles weaving all around her as she laid on the grass in a statuesque pose; earth fingers in a vain attempt to catch a passing comet, a fleeting visitor from another time; a pagan and obscene dance by on-lookers when a post tried to make acquaintance with my head in a dark and wet winter night.
